S-VDR

A Simplified Voyage Data Recorder (S-VDR) is a lower cost version of a VDR that is designed for smaller ships. If you own a smaller ship, it is perfect for you. It records your vessel's basic data and is connected to a free-floating capsule. Furthermore, it maintains, stores and secures data after an incident and gives information about the position, movement, physical status, command, and control of your vessel in the period leading up to and following an incident.
